Jan Gleysteen Architects is pleased to be featured in this month's issue of Period Homes magazine. "Greek Excursion" details the academic study undertaken by the firm in order to construct this Greek Revival residence on the foundations of a existing cape style home. The firm studied New England Greek Revival homes for their historic detail, proportion, balance, and scale. The design was also recognized for it's academic attention to detail by the 2011 Bulfinch Awards from the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art New England Chapter.
