Jan Gleysteen, NCARB, AIA
Jan Gleysteen, Principal of Jan Gleysteen Architects, Inc., is an award-winning architect with more than thirty years of experience. Beginning his career at the critically acclaimed New York firm of Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, Mr. Gleysteen spent seven years responsible for several award-winning large scale commercial and corporate office projects. In 1989 he founded Jan Gleysteen Architect in New York City and in 1991 moved his firm to Boston, where he has earned numerous prestigious awards for his custom residential work.
Mr. Gleysteen received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts University (1976) and a Master of Architecture degree from the Graduate School of Architecture and Planning at Columbia University (1980), where he was the recipient of the Ware Traveling Fellowship. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Boston Society of Architects (BSA) and has National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) certification. He is registered in several states including Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire and Maine.
