Striking Transition

The fresh, transitional feel of this home is a testament to the flexibility of the traditional colonial floor plan. The tried and true center entrance colonial floor plan has a lot of things going for it – a logical layout, separation of public and private living spaces, and a familiar flow.  But what makes this immensely popular layout stand out in these modern times?  In our Striking Transition Residence dark wood floors, white cabinets, earthy finishes, brass hardware, and colorful accents provide a refreshing update to this New England classic. Oversized windows create sharp, crisp lines throughout the bright interiors, emphasizing the clean lines on the interior mouldings.  It’s amazing how the right palette and trim detailing can revitalize a familiar object. It’s no wonder the colonial house plan continues to endure!
