Greek Revival
To undertake the reconstruction of a Greek Revival home on an existing footprint the design team documented a collection period homes built between 1820 and 1845. Their careful study allowed them to incorporate the characteristic elements of the style into their 21st century replication. Two back-to-back gables in a pinwheel configuration allow for a low ridgeline while providing the square footage required for modern family living. The firm’s efforts on this home were rewarded with a Bulfinch Award from the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art.
